This book was recommended to me by a friend. I read the back cover and was instantly intrigued. Two couples meet for dinner and while things start innocently enough, you know trouble’s brewing … and not just because the back cover tells you so. You can feel this story simmering and while you don’t know what’s coming, you’re prepared for everything to boil over, explode. The whole book spans the course of this dinner, starting with aperitifs and appetizers but by the time dessert rolls around, the story has taken turns no reader could ever have seen coming. I can’t tell you much about it without ruining it but I do want to know if anyone else has read this because I’m dying to discuss it with someone!
